We’re on display at the Lowry

…Ok, so maybe that’s a ‘little’ embelished, but our latest project did see us creating a touch screen Flash piece for the Giant Psychic Avatars of Salford exhibition at the Lowry Museum (see, it wasn`t a complete fib) – Check it out in the video above!

When approached with the initial project brief from our friends over at Hemisphere, the concept of giant avatars adorned with bling, moustaches, dummies and more sounded about as confusing as you probably felt when you read that!

After a few initial ‘errrrrrrrrrrrs’ and ‘ahhhhhhhhhs’ we got to work to design and build an application which would give visitors to the exhibition the opportunity to create, save and then even print their own avatar. Running on a touch screen also meant it had to friendly to even the fattest fingers too! The end result is something we’re really proud of in the office and has proved a crowd pleaser at the exhibition too. You can see some images below (right click and choose ‘Go Fullscreen’ - it’s quite fancy!)
