Say hello (and goodbye) to Josh

Hey, my name is Josh Layton and I’m 15 years old. From July 8th – July 18th 2008 I did my work experience with Engage.
During my time here I have learnt several things such as the basics of running a digital agency, how to improve my Photoshop, CSS and (x)HTML skills and of course how to make a pretty great cup of coffee!
Alex, Dave and Will have been helpful and kind and made me feel right at home in my cage* During my placement I’ve been given a range of different tasks, some that I found relatively easy and some that I found pretty hard but the guys showed delight in giving me a push in the right direction and answered any questions that I had.
Overall the past 2 weeks has been a great experience and taught me a lot of skills that I hope to use in the future, from web-design to graphics and more. Cheers guys!
* We didn`t really make Josh work in a cage in case any of his teachers are reading this. Promise! – Alex
Here are a few bits I’ve worked on:

Lucky kid to do his work experience with such an amazing design agency, I’m sure he’ll go onto good things!

Haha, thanks Jason. I think some of my music taste may have put him off the industry for life though!

Josh – you’re one lucky kid. I’m 15 and I wish I could be an intern at a design agency. I wouldn’t even mind working in a cage!
