…flashing our flash skills that is (Guffaw!) Our regular followers might have noticed we like to use Flash in our websites to enhance the user experience, but a full site in flash? We’ve never done that before!

Flash is perfect for any website that needs to make a big impact on the visitor. Using Javascript, CSS, HTML and a little bit of magic we can pretty accurately recreate some of the effects Flash is capable of, but nothing really gets close when it comes to the fluidity and smoothness.

Being a production company, Expose have a lot of video reels and photography they want to showcase, but they were really against a simple gallery website – wanting to create a degree of exploration and the unknown. We’ve achieved this by limiting the amount of content that is initially visible, forcing the visitor to delve deeper into the website to uncover all the gems within. Of course, for those people in a rush a quick navigation is always at hand to take you straight to where you want to go.

So, did our first flash website go off without a hitch? Almost… I’ll just say that without this link, I might have gone a little insane attempting to smooth dynamic images.
