Not so simple.

Engage Interactive was born on a very cold day back in 2007. We remember it was very cold because the heating didn't work in the office and our fingers turned a weird blue colour. Anyway, we digress...

Our ethos is simple - to make things for the web and make them really really well. There are no laurels in our studio for resting on or corners to be cut and this is what keeps us (and our clients) happy, content and proud.

Broadkast is a project we've been working on for the past few months; it's a simple, intuitive online tool designed to completely manage your e-marketing needs from start to finish.

Propaganda seem to be doing something right judging from their client list and impressive portfolio. We helped them shout this success from the rooftops by delivering them a brand new site build and content management system.

We worked with Mister, who designed the site, to build a bespoke solution on our own platform that allowed them to manage their product database whilst retaining a very distinct look and feel.

We produced all of the design and HTML/Javascript build, before handing it over to the Sky team in Harrogate for development. This was a very complex project, we had to balance the various design, content, accessibility and commercial requirements.

New Oriel site lands at Heathrow

Hi everyone, it's Erin and I've been let loose on the blog for the first time - eeek! I thought I'd use the opportunity to tell you about our latest launch; Oriel.

Located at Heathrow's Terminal 3, Oriel is a restaurant offering travellers a taste of French Brasserie food along with all day breakfasts and an impressive wine and drinks menu.

This was a great little site for us to work on. The clean, elegance of the design echoes an era when travel was a real luxury. A soft, limited palette allowed us to have a bit of fun with the overall look; using typography as design elements; some quirky icons and a selection of vintage travel photographs.

We avoided the much used, distressed retro look to reflect that although the design is based on a bygone era, the restaurant has very much landed (sorry!) in this century.
